Grow Your Own Food Program

Our grow your own food program (GYOF) provides fresh, organic produce to the Northfield Township Food Pantry.  Our Nurture Demonstration Garden at St. Philip Church at 1609 Pfingsten Road in Glenview donates 100% of its produce to the pantry (which is located across the street).  Our program also supports six additional plots tended by Nurture alumni families interested in caring for their own garden and enjoying the fresh and healthy harvest.  Our GYOF program needs a consistent supply of volunteers to tend the gardens.  To find out more or come and lend a helping hand, please contact Michelle McKenna at michelle.mckenna@comcast.net.
