A New Program Delivery Model & Champ Camp Video!

To reach more families, Nurture is piloting programs where our organizational partners teach the Nurture curriculum. Nurture provides the curriculum, recipes, training, and on-going support.  Our partners provide teachers, feedback, and impact data to ensure program excellence is maintained. With this model we are able to increase the number of Nurture programs and reach more families. An important benefit of this model is that because our partners have on-going relationships with participants, lessons can be reinforced outside of the Nurture class. Nurture is currently using this model with Family Network to provide our Prenatal Family Program to 40 Spanish-speaking pregnant women and with Edison Elementary to provide Nurture Your School programming to 350 third and fourth graders. This past summer, Nurture partnered with JCYS Champ Camp to add weekly cooking and nutrition education to the camp activities.
