A great start to a hot summer day is a fruit and yogurt smoothie.
Refreshing and filling, it takes minutes to make and gives you a nice boost of fiber and calcium. Our Strawberry Banana Smoothie is a favorite any time of the year, but now that berries are in season, try making it with blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, or a combination of them all then add a squeeze of fresh orange juice for a touch of sweetness. We often make smoothies with a hand blender, but if you don’t have one, a regular blender or food processor will do the job.
